The Purpose of this study was to see how language abiliies and story structure abilities for children in language delayed multicultural family is affected by language interventions of the wordless book readings. Three subject participated in the study. Each subject was scheduled for a 40-minute session two times a week. Subject received 24 sessions of story-making activities during 3 months. The study design used was multiple baseline across the subjects. The following are the findings of the study; First, the language interventions of the wordless book readings was implemented with the children in language delayed multicultural family, and all subject were being improved receptive language abilities. Second, the language interventions of the wordless book readings was implemented with the children in language delayed multicultural family, and all subject were being improved expressive language abilities. Third, the language interventions of the wordless book readings was implemented with the children in language delayed multicultural family, and all subject were being improved story structure abilities.

This case study was to inquire into the effectiveness of group art therapy on mother's parenting stress of children with cerebral palsy. The object of the study were 5 mothers of children with cerebral palsy who were using the community welfare center in S city. This group art therapy was held once a week, for 60 minutes a session for 12 sessions from September to November, in 2011. The statistical methods utilized to make a comparative analysis were parenting stress index and KFD, and research design was pretest and posttest design, and the changes in the course of the program were observed per each session. The major findings were as follows. First, mother's parenting stress of children with cerebral palsy was reduced in the course of group art therapy. Second, it was verified that the group art therapy was effective on mother's parenting stress of children with cerebral palsy by parenting stress index. Third, parenting stress was reduced in point of the change in the pictures by KDF. In conclusion, it is clear that this group art therapy has positive effects on the reduction of mother's parenting stress of children with cerebral palsy.

This study conducted the questionnaire of parents of young children with disability who were enrolled in specialized and inclusive child-care centers located in K district, in order to analyze the needs to support the special education related services and child-care. The findings of this study suggest that most of mothers took care of young children with disabilities after child-care center, and detailed satisfaction of child-care center is usually high. Through the rehabilitation programs and therapy supports, young children with disabilities were receiving the language therapy once a week in the special education clinic, and the expensive participation expense was indicated as a problem. The full integrated child-care was favored and some special education related services were needed for the social and emotional development of young children with disabilities. And it was desired that the high-quality programs could be conducted by the therapist with understanding and respect for young children with disabilities in the special education clinic. Moreover, it was preferred that young children with disabilities might receive the rehabilitation programs and therapy supports with individual/collective instruction forms and the full states' financial support, 1 hour a day, 3 times a week. Among some special education related services, the needs for language therapy were highest in rehabilitation programs therapy supports. The extended arrangement of early childhood special education teachers and therapists was indicated as the task to be solved ungently, and rehabilitation therapy service was considered as the service to be most often received by young children with disabilities before going on to an elementary school.

The children with cerebral palsy had a wide range of difficulties in walking, speaking and swallowing from brain damage. Aspect of speech, especially, spastic cerebral palsy children represent abnormal vocalization pattern by respiration problem and paralyzed or overstrain oral motor muscle that are the articulation organ of speech production. Thus, this study examined the effect of articulation organ muscle relaxation training program to improve articulation ability in children with spastic cerebral palsy. The subjects of this study were 3 children with spastic CP. The articulation organ muscle was conducted in 30 sessions. Pre-test was administered three times before the program, and ongoing test was administered every 6 session during the period of experiment and post-test was also adminitetred three times. The following result were obtained. The articulation organ muscle relaxation training program incresed on articulation ability that could known by increased on maximal phonation time, consonant accuracy ratio, vowel accuracy ratio, and syllable articulation ratio. The above results showed the effectiveness of the program on the articulation ability improvement of the children with spastic CP.

The effects of replacing core subtests with supplementary subtests on composite score reliabilities were evaluated for the WISC-IV Indexes in the context of the CFA measurement model by using Raykov's procedure for estimating reliability of construct measurement. According to Wechsler's specifications for substituting supplementary subtests for core subtests, 13 CFA measurement models were specified and reliability coefficients for each model was estimated by using Raykov's formula for estimating factor rho coefficient. The results of this analysis partially support Wechsler's recommendations regarding the substitution of supplementary subtests for core subtests. Nine out of 13 substitutions were found to reduce the reliability of Index score. Especially, Processing Speed indexes have the lowest composite reliabilities among four Indexes.
