The Journal of Developmental Disabilities, or JDD (ISSN 2288-4289, eISSN 2671-6488), is Korea’s leading academic journal covering the convergent fields of Developmental Disabilities studies, special education, and interdisciplinary social sciences. The journal is double blind peer-reviewed, and published four times a year by The Korean Association on Developmental Disabilities (KADD). The journal also appears online, in full text and open access (eISSN: 2671-6488). The first issue of JDD was published in May 1997, and to date, it has provided KADD members and domestic and foreign researchers with an opportunity to share evidence-based research results. Since then, the journal has provided a forum for academics at all levels to contribute their research into an expanding network. Published quarterly, JDD has an annual volume of approximately 1,200 pages; circulation stands at 200 copies per issue. JDD is selected and registered in Korean Citation Index by the National Research Foundation of Korea (KCI: 2020∼present).
