This study reviewed 36 domestic theses on ACC of children with brain lesions as follows: (1)The types of research, (2)the objectives of research, (3)the subjects of intervention, (4)intervention environment, (5)intervention symbols, (6)intervention instruments, and (7)intervention strategies. The following results were obtained. First, the most frequently used research type of theses on ACC of children with brain lesions was experimental research(88.89%). Second, the most common objective of research on theses on ACC of children with brain lesions was the improvement of communication skills(54.05%). Third, the highest subject number of research on theses on ACC of children with brain lesions was three(81%). Fourth, the most common intervention environment of research on theses on ACC of children with brain lesions was special school(50%). Fifth the most frequently used intervention symbol of research on theses on ACC of children with brain lesions was a graphic symbol(59.37%). Sixth, the most highest intervention instrument of research on theses on ACC of children with brain lesions was VOCA(Voice of Communication Aid)(28.12%). Finally, for the intervention strategy of research on theses on ACC of children with brain lesions, the highest number of treatment session was 11~20(59.38%) and the highest intervention activity was play and routine activity(25.00%). The highest intervention strategy of research on theses on ACC of children with brain lesions was direct instruction(29.79%).

The purpose of this study was to inspect the influence of Blended Learning in mathematics education classes on their Basic Mathematics achievement abilities and their academic engagement behaviors on the subject of three elementary students with intellectual disabilities, while being taught Mathematics Level 2. As a result, the basic mathematics achievement abilities and academic engagement behaviors have been improved. For this survey, a variety of methods were conducted as follows: in order measure Basic Mathematics achievement abilities by using Basa-Math(Basic Academic Skill Assessment: Math) 2: recording the process of learning to be reviewed: analyzing the recording at partial intervals. This study has its importance in the point that the integration education has been generalized and disabled children are included in the classes with the normal students, which is applied to Blended Learning as a concrete way to support the successful integral education through the improvement of education quality.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of parental education program through interactive bibliotherapy focusing on communication behaviors level of preschooler with developmental delay and communication participation time between mother and preschooler with developmental delay. The subjects in this study were one pairs of mother and preschooler with developmental delay. The study was conducted twice a week, for four weeks in the child development center located in the city of Cheon-an. The video observation data were analyzed quantitatively using frequency analysis. Also, data were collected with interview method and analyzed qualitatively. The findings of the study were as follows: First, the interactive bibliotherapy program through mother education has improved the level of communication behaviors level of preschoolers with developmental delays. Second, the interactive bibliotherapy program through mother education has increased the communication participation time between mothers and preschoolers with developmental delays. Third, through mother interview, parental education program using interactive bibliotherapy were changed to language expression, concern about book reading of preschooler with developmental delay. These results suggest that the use of an interactive bibliotherapy program is an effective intervention for communication behaviors level and communication participation time between parents and preschoolers with developmental delays.

The purpose of this study was to examine effects of a story retelling strategy utilizing writing story mapping on story comprehension and production ability of children with mental retardation. To achieve this, 3 middle school students with mild mental retardation who were selected. As a result, first, story retelling strategy utilizing the writing story mapping had a positive influence on story comprehension of mentally retarded children. Second, after using the strategy of story retelling utilizing the writing story mapping, story narrative production ability of mentally retarded children was improved. Third, after using the strategy of story retelling utilizing the writing story mapping, average morphemes length of mentally retarded children lengthened. In conclusion, a story retelling strategy utilizing writing story mapping for mild mentally retarded student improves the story comprehension and story narrative production ability and affects positively to increase of the average morphemes length.

Parents begin with the child-screening and diagnosis of disability, and implementing the early interventions. This study investigated parents' recognition of early child findings(screening), diagnosis, and early intervention services, the difficulties in raising their children, and supports needed from the parents' view, the recipients of services. 10 parents of children with special needs under 3 years were interviewed, enrolled at special education support centers, special preschools, welfare centers for the disabilities, and segregated and inclusive child care and education centers which operated early intervention programs across the country. The contents of interviews were transcribed and analyzed. The results were as followed. First, parents responded they had experienced the psychological distresses at about the diagnosis of disability time. Second, a few parents didn't get early intervention services immediately, but most got the rehabilitation therapy and education program. The principles of early intervention as family centered program etc were carried out but the level of enforcement was low. And evaluations on the role executions of service providers were both positive and negative, as well. Third, parents told they suffered from psychological problems of family members, economical burdens, special needs of infants and toddlers, and inappropriateness of others. Fourth, based on these difficulties, the provision of family and economical supports, improvement of early intervention program, and reinforcement of social and national supports were suggested. Directions toward problem solving were further discussed.

This study was a clinical case study that enforced group art therapy program on six adults with intellectual disabilities in sheltered workshops and verified its positive influence on maladaptive behavior. Research problem is what kind of influence does group art therapy has on maladaptive behavior of adults with intellectual disabilities in sheltered workshops. Ninety minutes of group art therapy program was performed twice a week, total of 15 sessions. To verify the effect of program, maladaptive behavioral test was enforced before and after the operation of group art therapy to compare the test score, and paired t-test was performed using SPSS Window 12.0 program on maladaptive behavior subscale of Korean adaptive behavior tests (K-SIB-R) to see if there were any changes in maladaptive behavior. Result of this study verified that the group art therapy has effective influence on improvement of maladaptive behavior of adults with intellectual disabilities. It also suggests extended research to improve adaptive ability at work and quality of life of adults with intellectual disabilities.
